Materials

JuggerBot 3D’s printers have been specifically designed to process performance thermoplastics in both filament and pellet form, including but not limited to:

material

ABS

(Acrylonitrile Butadiene Styrene)

material

ASA

(Acrylonitrile Styrene Acrylate)

material

PLA

(Polylactic Acid)

material

TPC

(Thermoplastic Copolyester)

material

PET

(Polyethylene Terephthalate)

material

PETG

(Polyethylene Terephthalate Glycol)

material

PA6/66

(Polyamide 6/66)

material

PA6/66 + CF

 (Carbon Fiber Reinforced Polyamide 6/66)

material

HIPS

(High Impact Polystyrene)

material

PC

(Polycarbonate)

material

PEKK + GF

(Glass Fiber Reinforced Polyetherketoneketone)

material

PEEK + CF

(Carbon Fiber Reinforced Polyetheretherketone)

Process Specifications

Build parts as big as 36” x 36” x 24” with filament, or 36” x 48” x 48” with JuggerBot 3D’s pellet extrusion technology. Tolerances will vary with nozzle size, part size and geometry, and material, but can be as close as +/- 0.005”. Please specify any critical dimensions that need to be met with engineering drawings for reference.

Infil Density

Specify infill percentage to balance part strength, part weight, and print time. Choose from 15%, 30%, 50%, or 75%; please note that increased infill percentage will result in more time and material to print a part. If you do not specify infill density, JuggerBot 3D will elect a percentage based on the specific material and geometry of the part.

Print Quality

Coarse v2

Coarse

Best for concept models and large parts where surface finish is not a factor. Maximize extruder nozzle size and layer resolution to reduce print time and cost.

Standard

Standard

Balances build time and precision to showcase better surface finish and tighter tolerances. Recommended for most parts.

Fine v2

fine

Best for parts with tight tolerances and small features, especially if post-processing is not an option. Smaller nozzles and slower printing will result in longer cycle time. While layers will likely still be visible, surface finish is relatively smooth right off the printer.

Post-processing

Finish Level 1

Removal of support material only

Finish Level 2

Removal of support material, sanded surface

Finish Level 3

Removal of support material, surface sanded and primed/painted

Finish Level 4

Removal of support material, machined surface

Finish Level 5

Removal of support material, surface machined and primed/painted
